Dogs - You Can’t Treat One Without The Other

When you have two or more dogs in the family, fairness has to be observed or fights may break out! This is really mainly down to food, or more specifically treats.
The simple rule applies here, don’t give one without the other!
So if you go to the cupboard and find only one chew stick left in the box, its better to either break it in half and give them half each, or if it’s too small or you can’t break it don’t give it to either of them or the other will feel left out and will most likely try to steal it off the other dog!
On a slightly lighter note, it was pointed out to me that now I’ve started including pictures of our dogs in here, I tend to favour Ronnie. That’s probably because he is so much more of a character than Daisy, who prefers to sleep than play! So photos of her tend to be of her laying in a doggy bed somewhere or at best doing very little!
Just so as not to leave her out of the blog too much, here is one of her doing what she does best:

I wonder who has more sense?

They are incredible when they sleep!
How you live with 2 of Yorkies? They say they are very difficult as behaviour.
I had 2 rottweilers and am completly agree with you that every of them has to receive egual quantity of everything, our dimostrations of love too. Dogs are very gelous and I think many tragedies and problems with dogs come from this error to “prefere” one to other.

Luckily they are only small, as their are very testing sometimes! I can easily cope with them being used to much bigger dogs, but they still walk all over my partner as she doesn’t really understand that you have to be very firm with them.
Still, they are a lot of fun, so that makes up for it, I suppose!
