Goldie, sorry I didn't get back here for a few days - been so busy!

I bet Cookie has worked out her little problem by now, but if they're not used to steak as food it could well have disrupted their system a little. Dogs are marvellous when it comes to eating and their digestive systems are pretty tough - if only you knew what they ate when you weren't looking!

Our Yorkies get the occasional tummy problem but it usually works out in a day or two, then they're back to normal.

Often with dogs, it can be something that simply disagreed with them and they'll go off their food for a while, but not too long - when a dog gets hungry enough, it'll eat! In those situations, its best to avid giving them treats especially avoid chocolate as its poisonous to them.

Also don't give them milk, as their digestive systems is not geared up to process lactose very well and that can cause the opposite reaction in diarreah.

so cute your dog, I have a health question, we have two shih tzu's Cookie and Bentley they are 2 1/2 and bring totally enjoyment to our lives. Cookie however is waking up to a bit of constipation, we fed them a bite of steak so I am thinking it's disrupted her system. Bentley seems fine, but this is the second day of Cookie having her little problem. Any suggestions?
